Guidelines for Grants for the 2016 Funding Cycle
The The F. Allen and Louise K. Turner Foundation's Board of Directors will not be accepting outside requests for funding for the 2016 funding cycle. In recognition of the years of service of it's board members, the foundation will only accept grant requests recommended by board members in support of Turner Foundation mission related work for tax exempt organizations recommended through a standing board member. We will return to our normal funding cycle/open requests for funding in 2017. F. Allen and Louise K. Turner foundation promotes nature and land conservacy and provides support to experiences that foster the individuals' and society's attachment to nature and land. Past grants have been given in support of education, the arts, nature, conservation, historic preservation, and curriculum development.
The F. Allen and Louise K. Turner Foundation seeks to fund thoughtful and diverse projects that both fulfill and build on its desire to connect human kind to the science and beauty of our natural surroundings.
An on-line application is required for 2016 grant requests. Applications received after October 31, 2016 will not be considered. Funding decisions will be made by November 30, 2016 and recipients will be notified in early December with expected distribution of funds by December 30, 2016. If selected, a brief progress report will be required by December 31, 2017.
